Blabbermouth.net and Twitch report that "Global Metal," a documentary about metal’s cultural impact in non-western countries, will be premiering this month.  The film’s creators travel around the world and report on the metal scene in places like China, Japan, and the Middle East.  Orphaned Land is one of the many bands featured in the film, although I’m hoping bands like Sigh, Cthonic, Intestine Baalism and Gallhammer at least make appearances.

"Global Metal" will be premiering October 18th in Norway at the 2007 Bergen International Film Festival, in association with Hole in the Sky, who put on the Bergen Metal Fest.  Check out the Bergen International Film Festival page on "Global Metal."
